This Privacy Policy explains how Ratio Labs ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the CoinAI mobile application ("App") and website ("Service").

1. Information We Collect

Coin Images

When you use the identification feature, we process photographs of coins that you capture or upload. These images are sent to our servers for AI analysis and are not stored permanently on our servers after processing is complete.

Collection Data

Coins you save to your collection are stored locally on your device in JSON files. This data is not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly use a feature that requires it.

Usage Analytics

We may collect anonymized usage data to improve the App, including:

• Number of identifications performed
• App feature usage patterns
• Device type and operating system version
• App crashes and performance data

This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you personally.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• Your name, email, or contact information (unless you contact us)
• Location data
• Contacts or address book
• Financial or payment information (payments processed by Apple)

2. How We Use Your Information

• Coin identification: Images are processed through AI vision models to identify coins, estimate grades, and provide values
• Service improvement: Anonymized analytics help us improve accuracy and user experience
• Technical support: If you contact us, we use your information to respond to inquiries

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

• OpenRouter: Routes coin images to AI vision models for analysis. OpenRouter acts as an API gateway and may use models from providers including Google (Gemini), OpenAI (GPT-4o), and Anthropic (Claude). See OpenRouter's Privacy Policy.
• Mixpanel: Provides anonymized product analytics to help us improve the App. Mixpanel receives usage events (e.g., scans completed, features used), device type, OS version, and app version. Mixpanel does not receive your name, email, or any personally identifiable information. Mixpanel does not use Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA). See Mixpanel's Privacy Policy.
• Superwall: Manages subscription paywall presentation. Superwall receives pseudonymous usage attributes (e.g., number of scans, subscription status) to determine which paywall experience to show. Superwall does not use Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA). See Superwall's Privacy Policy.

When you submit a coin image for identification, that image is transmitted to OpenRouter for processing. We select providers that commit to not using your data for training their models. All other third-party services receive only anonymized or pseudonymous data as described above.

Apple App Store

If you purchase a subscription, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not have access to your payment details. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention

• Coin images: Processed in real-time and not retained on our servers after identification is complete
• Collection data: Stored locally on your device until you delete it
• Analytics data: Retained in anonymized, aggregated form
• Support communications: Retained for as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data during transmission, including HTTPS/TLS encryption for all API communications. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Children's Privacy

CoinAI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data

• Opt-out: Opt out of analytics data collection

Since most data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by removing coins from your collection or deleting the App.

8. International Users

If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, through the App. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
